The solar azimuth angle is hard to explain. The most important thing you have to know is the ideal arrangement. The optimal azimuth angle would be Azimuth 0°. You get this angle with an orientation of 180° South.

• Azimuth -90° = 90° East
• Azimuth -45° = 45° South-East
• Azimuth 0° = 180° South
• Azimuth +45 = 225° South-West
• Azimuth +90 = 270° West
